Human Formation with 1000 students for MAHADAN

The Rotaractors at Jairams Arts & Science college in Karur held a Human Formation with 1000 students in their college ground on 10th March, 2016.

The Human Formation was for ‘MAHADAN’ a nationwide blood donation initiative by all Rotaract Districts in India. The Rotaract club at Jairams Arts College was sponsored by Rotary Club of Karur Angels.

The President of Karur Angels Rtn.S.Geetha had made all arrangements for the human formation that was followed by a blood donation camp organized at the college itself. The students held red color helium gas filled baloons and let the baloons go off when signaled. The human formation was in the form of a blood drop to symbolize Blood Donation.

The event was presided by the college principal and chief guest was Rtn.Balaji, Past president from Rotary club of Karur Tex City. The DRCC Rtn.Saravanaraj and Assistant Governor Jeyaprakash were present for the event. The ROtaract Zone coordinator Rtn.Shanmugavalli Nallasivam and Karur Angels members, Rtn.Lakshmi PP & Rtn.Saradha were also present.

Later the students were given refreshments arranged by President Rtn.Geetha.
