Rice and Wheat Bags to Shanthi Nilayam

Our Club is donating 250 kgs of rice and wheat to Shanthi Nilayam, Vengamedu every month as a part of our community service. This is an ongoing project of our club for the past five years. 150 children were benefied by this project. The chair person of this project is Rtn.Manimegalai. Cost of the project Rs.7500/-
Polio Immunization
Venue: Mini Bus stand , karur

A polio plus stall was organized by our club on 19.1.14. The national immunization day at mini bus stand Karur more than 200 children were given polio drops in our stall. The rotaractors from Annai College joined their hands with us in this project. Rtn. Radha was the chair person of this project. Total cost of the project Rs.1900/-.

Sexual Awareness Rally on Women’s Day

For celebrating women’s day, our club arranged a sexual awareness rally from Kongu Thirumana Mandapam to Sub-collector office on 8.3.14. Women from Annai Arabhindho college, Shakthi College of Nursing, NCC girls from Govt, Arts and Science college, Home Guard and all other Karur rotary clubs were joined together with us in this rally. Totally 650 women were participated in this rally. The chair person of this rally was Rtn.yasmin. Cost of the project Rs.15000/-.

Thirumukkoodalur Panchayat Union Middle School on 5.7.2013. Total beneficiaries of this project were 100 students. The chair person was Rtn. Valarmathi. Cost of the project: Rs.5500/-
Distribution of Bed Sheets and Pillow

Our club distributed bed sheets and pillows to the 60 needy children at Aravakurichi Uma Children Home on 24.7.13. The chairperson of this program was Rtn.G.Neelavathi. Cost of the project: Rs.15000/-
World Breast Feeding Week Celebration

As the celebration of World Breast Feeding Week, our club members distributed Horlicks, Fruits, Health mix, Dates, Biscuit and Bread to the new born mothers and towels and bed sheets for the new born babies at Government 
Hospital Karur and Kasthuribai Municipal Maternity Care Centre on 1.8.13. We describe the mothers about the benefits of breast feeding. Totally 110 ladies were got benefit by this project. We are thankful to this project chair person Rtn. Bharathy. Cost of the project: Rs.8500/-
Independence Day Celebration

As the celebration of Independence day, our club President 
Rtn.Shanmugavalli hoist the flag at Koodalur Panchayat Union Middle School on 15.8.13. We distribute biscuits to the 100 students of that school. The chair person of this program was Rtn.Meenakshi Maduram. Cost of the project: Rs.1500/-
Ozone Day Celebration

Our club conducted a program of tree 
plantation at Manavadi village and Bismey colony for the celebration of Ozone day on 16.9.13. Rtn.AG.Ramkumar was the chief guest of this program. 100 of tree planted within 2km distance. The chair person of this program was Rtn.P.R.Sudha. cost of the project: Rs.750/-
World Heart Day Rally

For World Heart Day, our club 
conducted a rally “Idhayam Kaappom, Idhamai Valwom” on 29.913 evening 3.30 pm together with other 5 Rotary clubs at Karur and also with IMA Hospital. More than 500 college students and public were participated in this rally. We made a awareness about protect against heart disease among the people. Cost of the project: Rs.10000/-

WORLD POLIO DAY CELEBRATION & END POLIO NOW RALLY

Eye Camp to Public

Blood Donation

Our club conducted Blood donation camp at ROTARY TEXCITY HALL on 12th Nov, 2013 to public and free haemoglobin test for women in Karur. 11,050 units of blood have been collected on that day.
